Synopsis of the Black death

The manuscript titled the Black Death is the first book to the novel series titled the Book of Grage-War of Gods. The story is purely motivated by a childhood fantasy novel idea which has been grown by a large study of English history and Norse mythology, incorporate with Greek mythology and a pure incite in the understanding of religious beliefs. We all atone for our sins so as to obtain the eternity of our gods.

The Black Death is inspired by John Kelly’s book of the great mortality and Conn Iggulden’s War of the Roses books. The Black Death manuscript feature in it an outbreak of an epidemic that causes economic and religious upheaval in the Northlands where we see the establishment of law and order hang in the balance, all whilst the people of the north prepare for a vile winter after enjoying a plentiful autumn harvest. It is best to note that the story does not only transpire in one particular location since in the novel series I have created a vast cast of global characters that live out their adventures through the eyes of the reader.

The entire series novel of Grage is based on the dying away of the old gods and the birth of the new. An idea of how the new gods come into being is by obtaining a valuable prowess, being a greatly praised monarchy or through the possession of a conjured soul. The series expresses themes of power that corrupts, greed that consumes, betrayal of houses all whilst expressing the will of gods over men.

As much as I extend onwards with my story line i also give time to extend backwards in explaining the history of my characters, lands, wars, kingdoms, religion and gods.

Please note:

I wish to have my first completed manuscript published on July 2019 in e-book first, which will be available on Amazon.

  2. Good luck with the book release. It is hard work, but it is worth it to see your book published and being read by others! My fourth comes out in July and I still find the process stressful and nerve-wracking. Stick at it and enjoy the achievement!
